As I grew up, I faced the gradual disappearance of old memories. My parents' house, a very traditional living space located in a central district of Hanoi, was about to be moved due to changes in household registration. To preserve the image of this special space, I used an iPad to 3D scan the entire interior space of the house. For me, storing spatial memories in this way is like a multidimensional puzzle, when the pieces of memories are torn into many small pieces, scattered along the triangles of the modeling. The application of volumetric capture technology has helped me recreate the spaces around me into a 3D environment in the most intuitive way, which provides me with the ability to manipulate, collect and experiment with those "memory fragments" in the most complete way.
